50" Samsung HLN5065WX/AA tv

My samsung 50" DLP started "Freeze Framing" in black and white. The unit simply freezes up on an isolation picture. The audio still works and you can change the cable chanels but the picture remains black and white "Freeze Frame". You can shut the unit off, let the fan cycle down, and once you hear the clicking reset turn the TV back on...

I have a 56" DLP who's screen would go to an xray type picture. I would turn it off and wait a sec and then turn it back on. This worked for awhile and then it would not come on at all. The repair man stated it needs a power supply and voltage regulator. What do you think?

Samsung DLP Spots

I have a 16 month old 46" DLP and small pure white spots have developed at various locations on the screen. It started with 1 spot about 3 weeks ago and there are now 7. Samsung is no help on the phone except to schedule a repair. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks.
