I have the above Samsung HDTV/DLP. Just wondering if anyone knows why it will not power'up with or without the remote? There is power being provided from the outlet to the TV. Has anyone experienced a failure of the power supply board?

I have a 56" DLP who's screen would go to an xray type picture. I would turn it off and wait a sec and then turn it back on. This worked for awhile and then it would not come on at all. The repair man stated it needs a power supply and voltage regulator. What do you think?
