Question from a jangro.com reader:

Recently my picture turned green and the picture quality is very poor.
After I unplugged the unit for several minutes the picture returned to
normal, but several hours later the problem repeats. After contacting
Samsung Tech Support group they indicated my color wheel is defective. Do
you agree?

My answer:

I don't have enough experience with this to "agree", but it certainly does sound plausible.

If the color wheel was spinning off-speed or lost one of it's color pieces, that could certainly affect the color.

Is it making noise as well? I'd at least take my lamp out and take a look at the color wheel.
