I use netflix and it seems like the movies show up the day after I send the old DVD back. The only challenge is remembering that we have a steady flow of movies and watching them in a timely fashion.

Having Comcast DVR has also put a damper on our rental activity. We can barely get through all the shows we record every week.

Just a follow up...I signed up with Netflix months ago and it has been really good. I tested Blockbuster and honestly it sucked. The DVDs were taking forever to get to my place, and I was not really optimizing the rotation of the 3 DVDs at a time with them. They might have added more shipping centers around Worcester, MA by now, but I made the switch already with Netflix and I am glad I did.

Lately, I am watching up to 12 DVDs a month, sometimes even more if I can ship DVDs out on a Monday and get new ones before end of week.

The Netflix website is really easy to use and their recommendations are top notch, for me at least. I love the most popular DVD page which ranks DVDs based on popularity and feedback from Netflix members.

I also really like the possibility of getting international movies, since I am French and there is no French movies on cable, that really works great for me.

Yeah, a year later now and we've used Netflix a ton. In fact, we upgraded to the 3-at-a-time plan.

It's been perfect for catching up on TV series like Lost (Seasons 1 and 2). In fact, I much prefer watching TV series on DVD. That way you don't have to wait a week between episodes. Watch 1 hour, wait a week -- painful!
